Alan 'SPO' Schwartz

SPO, the SPO standing for S&M, Pain & Ouch was International Mr. Deaf Leather in 2001, is originally from Chicago, from a third generation deaf family. He lives in Hollywood, California, with his boyfriend, Johnny. He has been a judge at many leather events and acted as Master of ceremonies at International Mr. and Ms. Deaf Leather 1998 and 2000. He has been a long time member of both the leather and deaf communities, speaking out to help bridge the gap between the two, especially with interpretive services. He was nominated twice for the Pantheon of Leather Award. He recently became Mama's SPO, an honor he cherishes. He has taught workshops in hot wax punching/spanking and leather sign language in the past. He is an actor and can be seen in several television shows and movies. He has enjoyed the real estate for many years and is now pursuing his real estate license. "I am very excited to be a part of Tribal Fire."

Leather Sign Language - My purpose is teaching a workshop of leather sign language is to educate hearing people in the language of the deaf. There are many deaf people in the leather community and it is important that the communication be open and understandable, especially in the area of leather sex. Plus, it is a fun and descriptive language and who doesn’t want to learn dirty words in another language.

Hot Wax Punching/Spanking - The reason I like to teach the art of hot wax punching/spanking is that the sensations when hot wax is applied to the body at the same time as a punch/spanking is an intensity that shoots through the body in one of the most pleasurable ways. To introduce this fetish and to teach the proper methods are important to the safety and enjoyment of all involved.
