Presentations:
Advanced
Suspension Rigging
- with Lady
Gold
Small class only, very hands on. One rope rig for rescue
and suspension. Hands on demo and practice. Advanced suspension and
knot techniques are demonstrated. Expanded classes present a two different
chest and hip harnesses that allow the advanced rigger to do face down
and inverted suspensions.
The short class gives one on one instruction on the one rope rig with
its variants. Emphasis is on long term suspension. Attendee should bring
at least 50 foot of rope.
Basic Rope Bondage - with Lady
Gold
Safe? No it is not. The scope of this presentation is
limited to expanded basic safety, history, culture and basic knots and
ties. Attendee should bring 25 foot of rope.
At the end of the class we will know a little about history a lot about
how to make something inherently unsafe a bit less risky and quite a
few tips for putting it to use.
Psychology
of Bondage - with Lady
Gold
Not "How to" but "Why to".
An encounter with Jay Wiseman (author of Erotic Rope Bondage and S&M
101 among other books) led her to the realization that not everyone
has the same reasons for tying up their partners or wanting to be tied
up. While Jay enjoys watching his
captives struggle, Taipan and LadyGold practice a much more co-operative
style. The headspace during the differing types of bondage is much different
and the needs of each partner differ. LadyGold has done considerable
research and talked with many folks both online and in real life to
come up with a catalog of styles of bondage and an understanding of
the needs of the participants.
If you are into bondage it is important to find yourself a partner that
wants to be tied up for the same reasons you want to tie them - and
vice versa. In her workshop, LadyGold will cover the main psychological
aspects of bondage and how to make sure you have found a match. If you
are a Top/Dom please bring a 3-4 foot length of rope - there will be
audience participation!
