Sir Shadowfind

Skip Hipshier, known as "Sir Shadowfind", started his BDSM lifestyle journey "BI" (Before Internet) in 1967 and continues to live the BDSM lifestyle 24/7.

He is the founder of House Of Shadowfind, Inc., a lifestyle corporation that includes Shadowfind the website, Shadowfind the Bed & Breakfast, Shadowfind and Spirit Scents Products and the Shadowfind Alternative Lifestyle Training School. The Shadowfind School has been featured on the Playboy Channel and seen in over 126 countries.

United BDSM International is a safe house program that was started in 1999 by Sir Shadowfind. To date, UBDSMI funds itself and helps Lifestyle submissives/slaves find a safe haven in times of trouble. Its membership is confidential and it asks for no money.

Using whips for over 20 years, he teaches students from around the country through performances on-the-road and at his Inn in Michigan. At the Shadowfind Inn, a student can learn the art and dance of the whip, while staying in a lifestyle environment.

Hipshier started his professional career as an undercover criminal investigator, over 30 years ago. He now does selective work as a specialist in corporate counter espionage. The name "Shadowfind" was his code name for most of his career as a - finder of "shadows" in corporations.

As an investigative Lawyer’s Assistant he specializes in tax-exempt not-for-profit corporations. Because of this work he has been able to help many lifestyle organizations with their charters and written goals.

His strong belief that we in the BDSM lifestyle should "do the right thing because it is the right thing to do" has led him to take the message of lifestyle ethics to as many in our BDSM community as possible.
