Significant similarities between Leather and Sufism have helped Master Malik to continue his journey on the path of mastery and slavery with his precious slave Cathy. Master Malik is an avid practitioner of old fashion SM and strongly believes in a powerful connection between SM and spiritual realm. He also believe with passion about "Acceptance", "Tolerance" and "Diversity" of our larger tribe.
Master Malik is proud to serve as Southwest Master 2008. He is proud to have the privilege of presenting at several local, regional and national events and gatherings. He is member of T.U.L.S.A., NCSF, NAL-I, MaST-Tulsa. He is also an associate member of Chicago Hellfire Club.

2011 Presentation:
Soul of the Canes
Staffs, sticks, stalks, reeds, measuring rods, writing, walking, fashion, entertainment, flexibility, judicial, boats, furniture, baskets and even weapons! What do all these things have in common? CANE!

Because this material is so versatile we have taken this most affordable implement and let our imaginations run wild with it. Canes are pretty much synonymous with punishment in all times, ages, cultures and societies. "Best of Seven" or "Victorian Discipline" are just two examples. News reports associate canes with punishment such as the case of the young man caned in Singapore a few years ago.

In the BDSM realm canes evoke a harsh image when referred to but there is also an overlooked side to canes. Have you considered the catharsis aspect of a good caning? We shall demonstrate the rhythm and intensity and seeming harshness coupled with willingness to allow pain to open a portal in mind and beyond and be free.

We shall, briefly, discuss material types, rhythm, stroke intensity, care, storing, and maintenance.

Please know that this presentation of SM interaction is advance in nature and is not suitable for the faint of heart. But know that, we shall be on the path where music of the canes meets the soul of the canes. This is SM approaching its zenith in physical, emotional and perhaps spiritual dimensions.


2010 Presentation:
Hidden Prejudices against Extreme SM Play
It takes no effort to enjoy the activities we feel comfortable with, be they vanilla or kinky. That is the path of least resistance. We, BDSM and/or Leather folks who are on the fringes of society, who are rebels by nature, who chart their own journeys, must not take this path of least resistance. Many of us preach and make statements of tolerating and accepting of other people's kink, but the real test is when we actually come face to face to witness those acts that lie outside of our zone of comfort. It is important to step outside of one's own zone not only to test our resolve but also showing support to those who engage in them. After all, we are all linked by this desire to express ourselves with the acceptance of our tribe.

There are hidden or subconscious prejudices against some of the SM plays by many of us. They are steeped in ignorance, lack of understanding, pre conceived notions, arbitrary thinking or just being judgmental. Playing with blood could be one of those activities. Incorporating guns in our scenes could be another. Extra harsh beating, kicking, choking, degrading, humiliating or whipping could raise eye brows of many without that person's realization. Playing with religious, cultural, racial or ethnic symbols could also be one of those.

This class is most definitely not for faint of heart or soul. There will be a demonstration at the end of this class that will push some boundaries. There is going to be brutal scourging. There is going to be vicious whipping. The webbings of the hands shall be nailed to a cross and the blood shall flow. The energy exchange of indescribable intensity shall take place. In all of that, we shall test our resolve of tolerating and accepting. And in all this, we shall face our prejudices against non-conventional SM energy exchange and see if it makes us a better person and strengthen our collective tribe.

Blood letting rituals have been a part of the human experience since the beginning.

The focus of this class is on the powerful and sensual properties of blood and spiritual and ritual cutting. We shall cover safety, negotiation, techniques and after care topics of mummification. We shall explore and discuss the physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual aspects of mummification. When body is unable to move, the journey takes an inward direction. We shall discuss this journey, its beauties and its perils.
