Master Ken Benson

Ken has been out in the Dallas community since late 1995, when he and Silk decided to step into the "real" world of kink and leather. He has belonged to most every group in the Dallas community from the late 1990's to present, including Leather Rose, Bound Rose, NLA-Dallas, Different Strokes, Inquisition Dallas, Sanctuary for the Lifestyle Arts, Knot Just Leather, DFW Bound and Texas Stars and Moon, to name a few, and has served on the Board of Different Strokes, and as Co-chair for NLA-Dallas. He was first runner-up in the Mr. Texas Leather contest of 1998 and was Mr. Texas Fantasy 1998.

In early 1998, Ken had the pleasure of learning very basic escrima (Filipino stick-fighting) and incorporated that into two-handed (or Florentine) flogging techniques. Shortly after that, he passed along this knowledge to some of the regional communities, and is very happy to see folks out there still flogging away!
Currently Ken enjoys the service of his two girls, Silk and Jennifer. Life is good!

2011 Presentations

Flogging 101 and Beyond -
Ken will demonstrate both basic and advanced techniques of flogging, including double-handed flogging. We will also cover the mentality of flogging, how to keep it interesting for both partners, scene set-up, and safety issues for both Top and bottom.

Relationships/Communication - with Silk
Communication is an art and Relationships are a dance. Please join Ken and Silk to discuss good BDSM lifestyle communication techniques in order to maintain and grow a healthy BDSM relationship and enjoy your dance.

2002 Presentations:

Roleplay - This class will highlight the infinite possibilities when adding roleplay to short-term scenes. Topics covered include defining roles, negotiation, scene set-up, and aftercare for all parties involved.

Flogging 101 and Beyond - The basics of flagelation will be covered in this class, including safety tips and how to maintain a powerful connection with your play partner during the scene.
