Jim & Spirit Holt

Jim began in the BDSMlifestyle, as a heavy bottom, He began his training with one of the icons of Janus in the SF Bay area, where he still resides, in the late 1970’s. Since then, he has attended every class he could in his home area, then branched out across the country to include Portland,Washington DC, Denver, and Oklahoma. He shares his experience with others at his local dungeon and has taught cupping, among other things,for smOdyssey. About 10 years ago he found the allure of being a Top and has enjoyed teaching by doing with the many he plays with, and mentors. While Jim tops others, he is collared to his wife, Bradaigh.

Spirit, is a dominant, and Jim's partner of 7 years, is by comparison to Jim, new to the lifestyle - a mere 10 years. She is active in her community and created and hosts South Bay Girl Talk, a discussion group dedicated to those who identify 24/7 as women, as a place to talk about scene related issues with a group of like minded women. Spirit, dedicated to sharing negotiation & safety skills with those new to the scene, has mentored many within the South Bay. While she is the proud owner of Jim, she bottoms to him as well.

 

Cupping - Fire & Suction
Since the 4th century, cupping has been used to treat medical ailments. This seminar discusses and demonstrates the beauty and the fear (for some) of cupping as used in BDSM today. Glass medical cups with various sources of heat/flame will be used. Plastic cups of various sizes will be used with a suction pump. Lastly, materials, available at your local hardware store, that can be used for cupping will be demonstrated on both male and female bodies, to include “pink parts” and “dangly bits.” Safety issues, along with a brief history, will be covered.
