2011 Presentations:
Consent
How do we navigate the waters of consent in our relationships
and play? Some of our relationships specifically negotiate consent in
ways that can have serious consequences in the legal world. NCSF's project
_Consent
Counts_ is working on 2 fronts to address the issues of consent in our
community. The first is to educate our own community about the realities
of consent in our relationships and play. The second is a focused effort
in a 10 year plan to decriminalize BDSM. We may always be sexual outlaws;
but we don't need to be criminals any more. Come participate in a discussion
about consent and its consequences including a review of relevant case
law and current cases that are relevant to our communities.
Humiliation Play
This guided discussion will solicit audience input on exactly
what constitutes humiliation, its components, as well as how to incorporate
it into a scene successfully. Discussion will also focus on how to discover
avoid negative triggers, caring for one's bottom/submissive, and feelings
about what could easily be termed "emotional edgeplay."
2002 Presentations:
Needle Play
Leigha has been playing with needles and other sharp shinny metal pointy
things for more than 10 years and loves helping other people discover
the joy (and the fear and the fun and the magik) of what she calls ”the
ultimate penetration”; Come to class and learn the basics of needle play.
We’ll discuss technique, things to do and safety issues and everyone will
have the opportunity to pierce (or be pierced!)
NCSF Strategy Session

diverse grassroots communities to help change antiquated and unfair sex
laws, and to protect free speech and advance privacy rights. NCSF is dedicated
to ensuring that all consenting adults can express their sexuality identity
freely and openly, without fear. This strategy session is open to all
interested participants including those people who are not registered
