Sir Dart comes to us from Toronto, Canada.

His interest in leather and BDSM play can be traced as far back as his early childhood years, citing a huge fascination with what was being done to Robin on the Batman television series…and to the furry cowboys on Gunsmoke. When other boys were caught with porn magazines under their beds…Dart was caught with a roll of duct tape. Since then he has developed an immense passion for rope bondage, not to mention the men he likes to tie up with it. Dart began his journey in the lifestyle as a collared boy and gradually developed into a dominant. He believes in the importance of “balance” when exploring one’s dominant and submissive side in play, and that great benefit can come from experiencing both elements. Sir Dart’s kinky interests in addition to rope bondage/kinbaku include puppy play and training, chest and gut punching, and most recently, fire play. He believes the most honorable trait a leatherman can possess is good manners. Dart has presented all over Canada and the US, most recently at Kapital Kinkfest in Ottawa, International LeatherSir/leatherboy in San Francisco, Kink Kamp in Edmonton, and Tortured Youth in Winnipeg. In 2007 he was Mr. Black Eagle Toronto and through the creation of the Leather Lab hands-on teaching program he raised funds for the Hassle Free Clinic. He is a board member of the MLT Educational Committee and a regular presenter for their successful “So You Want To Be Kinky??” seminar series. He also hosts his own leather podcast program on ITunes, called Dart’s Domain. He is the very proud Sir of his boy leon, and is serving a life sentence as the collared property of Sir Machias.

Bondage Bullfighting
Bondage is more than simply memorizing a bunch of pretty knots. It's an exchange of power and energy...a kind of "dance" between dominant and submissive, that takes both parties on a journey to a common goal and "catharsis". It is not unlike what a matador does with a bull during a bullfight. In this class we take a step back and re-examine the actual power exchange with the rope, and how we can create an amazingly erotic bondage experience, even with only knowing one type of knot. This class is hands-on so please bring rope if you have it, and be prepared to do a little moving.

Dynamics of the Switch
After years of being a Dom, what if you suddenly feel the need to submit? Or perhaps after being on the receiving end of a whip for a while, you feel compelled to do the wielding? Whether it's going from Dom to sub or vice versa, more and more people are choosing to engage in "switching" of some kind as they continue on their leather journeys. It can be a very rewarding and fulfilling experience, but also present its own set of challenges.
In this workshop, Sir Dart along with his Sir, SIR Machias will engage in an open discussion about what being a healthy switch entails, the varying reasons for choosing it, and how to do so powerfully. Using examples from their own journey, they will elaborate on the varying elements involved in being a switch, and provide some tools designed to make the journey fulfilling for all parties involved.

Puppy Love
Introduction to puppy play-This workshop and demonstration will cover the fundamental aspects and safety issues surrounding puppy play. The demonstration will show both handlers and future canines the play elements and psychology in this very playful and fun form of role-playing.

The Dance of Rope Bondage
Tying someone up is more than simply memorizing a plethora of knots. It's an actual "dance"...an erotic exchange of energy and power to the point of submission and control. In this introductory bondage workshop Sir Dart will illustrate this exchange with the rope and the bottom, giving tips on proper care and safety, and how to make a simple but effective rope bondage scene.

Bondage for the Balls
Binding the male genitalia-A man's cock and balls are HOT...especially when you bind them with rope. In this rope workshop Sir Dart will instruct on some ways of tying up the cock and balls, with an emphasis on predicament bondage as well as stimulating the various "nerve centers".

Think sensory deprivation is too scary? Not at all. . . it's fun! This workshop will illustrate the basics of immobilizing a person head to toe in saran wrap and duct tape. Proper preparation and safety measures will be shown, as well as the actual wrapping technique and aftercare. There will be plenty of opportunity for questions, both with Dart and with the sub during and after the scene.

Rope Bondage and Bondage Dynamics
In this workshop Dart will introduce you to the basics of Japanese rope bondage, what makes it erotic, and what kind of care and preparations need to be taken. Dart will demonstrate a full bondage scene showing how simple to how complex and beautiful complete immobilization with rope can be. There will also be a "hands-on" section in the workshop to actually learn and practice some basic knot-tying techniques. Also elements of the dynamics of Dom/sub play will be discussed and how to make the most of the scene for both parties.

Introduction to Suspension
Suspension bondage is some of the most beautiful and erotic of rope-play . . .but also the most dangerous if not done properly. In this workshop Dart will lightly touch on the basics of what is involved when suspending someone and all the elements that must be present to execute a beautiful and SAFE suspension scene. A live demonstration will follow.

New and proposed laws will make pornography more difficult to make and more difficult to obtain. Presented by Dart, the fetish photographer/editor of BearBound.com, this seminar will "bust some myths, expand your mind, and rattle your cage." As BDSM players, this affects us ALL. Also covered will be what has transpired in the past year with these new laws, and the way the courts have handled them.

Vet-wrap Mummification
