Buster

 

Buster has been a balloon fetishist since his earliest childhood memories and is well known in the fetish community. He has been featured in numerous magazine articles, three books on fetishes, the Graham Norton television show, and is currently featured in the fetish show at the Museum of Sex in New York City. He is the past president of the Universal Brotherhood of the Leather Lords and has appeared in numerous bear and fetish porn films. Buster also runs his own website (www.bustersworld.com).

Balloons are a fetish for him in the true meaning of the word, being both an obsession and sexual stimuli. Like most fetishes, there are a wide range of activities and images that can be considered arousing with balloons, but for Buster, the fascination began with the texture and sensation of the feel of the balloon itself, along with the exhilaration of seeing or experiencing a balloon pushed to the edge of bursting and destruction. He is into the act of inflation and destruction as much as the sensation of the tight inflated latex. The fear/fascination of both wanting a balloon to pop, and not wanting it, was his introduction to the S&M world.

The "life cycle" of a balloon has four phases: inflation (blowing it up by some means), admiration (looking at it), interaction (touching, moving, watching), and destruction (deflation, popping, releasing). Any or all of these phases can constitute the primary interest of the balloon fetishist, while the remainders are simply complimentary. The practices of the fetishist falls into two distinct camps, poppers and non-poppers and their foci are seen as drastically different. Buster's classes and workshops will attempt to explain the basics of balloon fetish, and offer some ideas for erotic balloon play, both solo and with a partner.

2008 Presentations
Balloon Fetish 101
This class will present an overview of balloons as a fetish. We will be discussing the origins of many balloon fetishists, the different types of balloon fetish play, and popping versus non-popping. The different types of balloons used and sources of balloon fetish resources will be covered.

Balloon Bondage
Slick and shiny, tight and clingy, lets face it, latex feels great against the skin. This class will demonstrate a variety of methods using balloons for tight, clingy erotic bondage. This class will also demonstrate how to safely get inside giant balloons and use them for encapsulation scene or shrink wrapping the bottom for immobilization.

Balloon S&M
How can a shiny fun toy be used in an S&M context? This class will focus on the mind play aspect of a balloon fetish. Afraid of balloons popping? Come ride the edge of fascination and fear. Ever thought of torturing a person through torturing an object? This class is for you.
