Artemis discovered her leather dyke self 31 years ago at the tender age of 19. Artemis is also a Dianic witch. She became a member of the Texas leather community in 1991 when she moved to the Metroplex/Dallas. She holds the titles of Ms. Texas Leather Pride 1993 and Ms. NLA-I 1994. For the past eight years she has lived an intensive 24/7 leather lifestyle. She is a working partner in a purebred Angus seedstock cow/calf operation and she belongs to 100 Mommy cows and their offspring. Artemis is a butch slave, with strong switch tendencies when the right bottom is available.

2007 Presentations:
S/M and Spirituality
It is believed by many that the triad of Creativity, Spirituality, and Sexuality are necessary and integral to the wellbeing of humans. Further, sexual practices are often spiritual practices that serve as rites of passage, prayer, and requests for divine assistance. The modern primitive follows numerous s/m spiritual disciplines and practices to "fly," undergo shamanic experiences, and to just plain have great, edgy sex. As in all things, this meeting of sexuality and spirituality is very diverse and individual in nature. This workshop will explore various s/m practices and traditions that are reflected in a myriad of religious practices and rituals. All leather-winged entities are welcome.

Pervertables
Whether you're on a budget or don't like to carry a toy bag when you travel in the vanilla world, it is always possible to go to visit local vanilla merchants and procure a wide variety of delicious "common pervertables." So come with us and cruise the aisles of the local department store, or grocery store, or home improvement store, or safety supply store, or laboratory supply store, or farm & ranch store…and find the makings of a well equipped and inexpensive toy bag. This workshop will provide demonstrations on how to make toys from everyday items. Attendees please feel free to bring your favorite homemade toys for "show & tell." This is the first step in gearing your "artifice and crafts badge & pin."
