Annie Ramano-Blas is a native Californian and has lived in San Diego for the past six years. She has been active in the leather community for twelve years in various capacities. Annie is a founding member of LASH, San Diego’s first women’s leather membership club. She also co-produces the annual Butch Revue and Ms. San Diego Leather Contest.
Annie’s platform is raising awareness and funds for Lupus, a project near and dear to her heart. Her wife, Jo, is the major reason she took on this cause. She works closely with the San Diego Chapter of the Lupus Foundation of America and they are excited to be working with the leather community. Annie’s hope is to reach as many people as possible, educating them on the symptoms of Lupus. Early identification and diagnosis can make a big difference for people living with Lupus, and those of us who love them.
